Further to the COVID-19 restrictions, consultations for GPs have been limited to 15 minutes.
As such, it is not possible to provide psychotherapy services and EMDR therapy in particular.
​
The Australian Federal Government has, however, created a number of Phone and Telehealth consultations items. WHilst each of these has limitations, I have decided to spend a little time exploring the latter (Telehealth), as I have some experience of providing Professional Supervision online.
 
For the present, these services are only available to established patients, via the Western Medical Centre.
